Introduction
Interact Club of RatoBangala (ICRB) was chartered on 25th August 2010 by a group of A-Level students studying in RatoBangala School, PatanDhoka. Within three years of foundation, the club has grown tremendously from just 30 members to over 125, making it one of the biggest clubs in the Rotary International District 3292. Since 2010, the club has expanded greatly, both in terms of work volume and membership. ICRB is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Patan South (RC 50694), and is one of the most active and vibrant clubs in the District. The club has completed myriad activities aimed at uplifting the community and serving towards world peace and understanding.
RatoBangala School expects all its A-Level students to do a minimum of 140 hours of community service. This was one of the primary reasons behind establishing this club in 2010. Since then, the club turned out to be more than just a mean to accumulate 140 community service hours. Volunteers Initiative Nepal, Saathi and Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM) are some of the big names ICRB has worked with. Besides holding its regular meetings and conducting volunteer activities, ICRB has extended its fellowship to other Clubs time and again, and also worked in cooperation with them.
